Casper’s Taxidermy

It all started with “Capturing the memory of a lifetime … for a lifetime”. That’s what I wanted to do and give people, to enable them to take a lifetime’s experience home, and always remember and come back to Africa.

In 1995 I finished school and started working at a Local Taxidermy for eight years where I received most of my training in mounting animals. I went to Sweden for three months where I received training in the stuffing of birds.

Casper’s Taxidermy was established in May 2003. With more than 10 years experience locally and abroad, we offer you a quality product. By constantly altering our forms and doing research on each animal, we ensure that you get the mount you deserve. We only take a certain number of trophies annually, thus ensuring that we provide you with that personal finishing touch.

We are situated on the family farm Poolmanskloof. I am the third generation to grow on the farm with animals, hunting and all aspects of nature. Taxidermy is something that I enjoy and I love working with trophies. I will capture the memories of your African hunt in a magnificent trophy.

Clients

Most of my work comes from Oversea Clients who hunt on Hunting Farms in Namibia. I also get trophies from local clients in Namibia self, or clients from South-Africa who come and hunt in Namibia.

Delivery Time to my Shipping Agent

For Oversea clients the delivery time from the day I receive their trophies until it leaves my studio takes between 8 to 10 months. I also do Dip and Pack, and the delivery time is between 3 to 5 months.

For Namibian clients, the delivery time is 10 months.

Curios

We do not sell any Curios at the workshop itself, but if a Client wants a specific curio, we can get it for him/her at a reasonable price.
